CL 450 Electrical work

The headlight and starter button was shot on the bike. And since no turn signals or horn will be on the bike I made the turn signal control handle the headlight and the horn button became the starter button.

The wires were all cut in the switch housing so i had to resolder new wires to pull threw the handlebars.

Handle bars drilled out and reemed so no wires get cut up.

The tail light is an old original 6 volt car marker light. It was only a single filment bulb also so that was upgraded to house a 12 volt brake light. The hard part was just getting out the old original socket without screwing up the housing.

To mount the tail light to the bike I chopped up the sidemount liscence plate bracket and fabbed up a new side mount using also an old socket I had so the wires coming out the tail light are hidden and it keeps to the ratty look Rob wants the bike to have.

Then started pulling all new wires for the bike making it as simple as possible unlike the stock wiring harness these bikes come with.
